Geez it’s been ages since I’ve written a blog!

Anyhow, I’m just having a blog to say how good Avril Lavigne’s new song, ‘Girlfriend’ is. It’s like THE BEST!!!

I think the song rocks totally, not just by the fact that the lyrics are awesome, the melody and music are awesome, and how she recorded herself blowing into a beer bottle, and laughing with one of her producers called Luke was awesome, but a lot of people around the teenage years can relate to it!!!

I know I can because I used to like this guy, who I might still like, but anyway when I heard it, It immediatly made me think of him, and how all of the girls were after him!!!

A little thing called JEALOUSY!!!

Avril Lavigne’s album hit stores Saturday!!!

I really want to get it, but I’m holding off until my Birthday, so my parents can buy it for me!!!

And plus she might bring out a special edition or something, but I’m not certain about that!

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

School for me this year has been going great! I’m now in Year 9 and have already been getting heaps of homework, but I can deal with it!

I’m still basically in the same Form class with the same people, except a few people have moved into another form. I wish Ricky was in my form because he got on with everyone in the class, and was fun to have around, but I still get to see him, and he’s in my Music class!

I’m really happy with my class cause all of my classmates are supportive and friendly. Because i’m not the best at sport, they encourage me, which makes my self-esteem increase! THANKS GUYS!!!

I can’t believe how fast this year is going already! All the new Year 7’s have started, and I’m going into the fourth week of school already! I feel like saying, ‘Take your time Mr Time!’

In Music class I’ve been writing a song for my group and I to perform. There are certain chords that I had to use, but I’ve added some other chords as well. I’ve got the song basically under control, but I just need to make sure it’s all planned out!

To the people who are reading this right now, I hope you’re having a good year! I know that my Best Friend that I met way back in Primary School is, cause she’s just turned 15. I’m going to her Party tonight, to celebrate it with her and some of her friends from her school, who I haven’t met before! I’m real excited to be meeting them cause I’ve heard a lot about them, and I think when you and your friends both attend different schools, it’s nice to meet their friends!

All my friends from school are going just fine. One of them is going to the Alpine school for 6 weeks to learn some skills on how to work as a team to help the Environment and stuff like that, I think, and one of my other friends has put herself forward for the SRC election, which is where you represent your class and help the school with descisions and ideas. I also went for the SRC election for my class, as well as some others. I don’t really mind if I don’t make it, plus everyone in the school has voted for their class candidate, and i’m sure the school has other things to offer me in the future!

Anyway I’d better go now, so all the best for all my Cyberspace people’s!!!

Last Tuesday I got myself a new mp3 player from the new JB HI-FI in Nunawadding, I think that’s where it is.
I got it for $73, at a special deal because it used to be $97!!!
That JB Hi-FI store was the only store that I knew which had it, cause all the other stores had run out!

I was thinking of buying an ipod, but they’re too expensive, and I only really wanted to spend around $100, so this was a cool bargain for me!!!
Plus I wanted an FM radio in it, (cause I hardly ever listen to the radio, I watch all the music channels on Foxtel!) a digital voice recorder, (for recording myself and other people!!!!) and at least 2GB’s cause then I can have a 1000 songs, cause I can never have enough music!!!

So i’m having a really cool holiday, and my dad and I are working on my new song that I wrote ages ago!!!
My dad put down some intrumental tracks, and when he put the bass track down, it made the song come to life!!!

I’ll be singing it at my next F.O.N.O!!!

I wanted to contact you and leave you a message on your Myspace page, but i’m not a member so therefore I can’t do that!
But anyway, maybe one day you’ll be surfing the net and come across this post.

I just want to congratulate you on your album, ‘Fires.’
It has been a great inspiration to me, because I happen to write my own lyrics and music.
When I heard your song, ‘Everybody’s gone to war,’ it really got me because you said on one of your interviews that you wrote it about some close friends of yours. I love the lyrics and how you described the following: ‘If love is a drug I guess we’re all sober, if hope is a song I guess it’s all over, how to have faith when faith is a crime, I don’t want to die, if god’s on our side, then god is a joker, asleep on the job his children fall over, running out through the door and straight to the sky, I don’t want to die.’
And not to mention the melody, because in my opinion, a song isn’t a song without a proper melody.

I’ve also heard another one of your songs called, ‘Patience,’ which was from your earlier album, ‘Dear Frustrated Superstar.’ I actually watched the video on Youtube, and I have to say that this song is also one of my favourites!!!
The way you do all of those, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah,’ and stuff at the beginning, it makes the song really catchy and interesting!!!
The film clip created the perfect atmosphere to suit the song as well.

I love the songs on your album, ‘Fires,’ because your lyrics are so mature and the music and melodies are catchy and worth listening to.
I like the fact that you are unique with your music and with your voice, I can say that there are a lot of rap artists and rock bands, but there’s only one you!

Keep making and creating songs!!!

Yesterday I read one of my three school novels for this year, called ‘The Simple Gift.’
It’s about this boy called Billy who moves away from his home, because he’s had enough of his father and he wants to start a new life on his own.
He leaves taking very few belongings with him, and not a great deal of money.

After he spends sometime on the Highway, trying to catch a lift, but becomes unsuccessful, he notices a train with a boat on top of it, and he climbs onto the top of the train, and sits in the boat.
The bus driver sees him, and instead of yelling and doing something about it, he says to the boy that he can come and use one of the cabins for free!!!

The train’s whistle blew three times to indicate to Billy that he was to get off at a town called, ‘Bendarat.’

There Billy finds some empty carriages at a train station, that are going to be worked on for one use or another.
He makes one of these cariages his home.

One day he buys a single lemonade from McDonald’s and then waits until customers have finished their food, so he can race over to eat the leftovers. Ewwwww I know!!!
There he meets a girl called Caitlin, who mops the floor there as a job.
Not only does Billy meet Caitlin and they become friends, possibly even more in this story, (you can’t be too sure on that!) but he meets another hobbo, like himself in a carriage next to himself.
His name is also Billy, but they call him Old Bill, to avoid confusion.

I won’t tell you much more because I want you to read the book and find out for yourself, but I will tell you this.

The Police get onto Billy and ask him a series of questions about living in the town.

All this could send Billy back on a train back home, unless someone saves him!
Will he be saved? Even save himself? Or will he have to return back to where he started from……?
READ THIS BOOK AND YOU’LL FIND OUT!

I give this book five stars because I loved the story line, the characters seemed like real people you see these days, and I read it in a day because it was so interesting!

‘Right now everybody, please turn to page four hundred and forty nine of your Maths text books please.’ Said Mr Smith.
Heather walked into class while putting her make-up on.
‘Where have you been?’ Mr Smith questioned her.
What’s it to you?’
‘I’ll ask you again.’ Mr Smith was showing a little bit of anger in his voice.
‘Lots of places. I went to Queensland last week, oh and I saw The Living End live.’

‘Go and get a late pass and take that make-up off, it makes you look cheap.’
‘Are you saying i’m ugly? Well so are you.’ She stormed out of the room.

When Heather returned with a late pass, Mr Smith told her to sit by the window.
‘I can sit wherever I want thank you very much.’
‘If you keep up this behaviour i’m sending you to the Principle’s office. How would you like that?’
‘Well it wouldn’t be so bad actually, at least I could look at the pictures of his cute sons who are fouteen to fifteen years of age.’

‘I’ve met them and they’re not interested in girls like you.’
‘Well at least they’re better than your sons who are like pure nerds.’
‘Right i’ve had enough of you, go to the Principle’s office. Mr Smith shouted.

Heather knocked on the Principle’s door.
‘Come in,’ he shouted.
Heather handed the note written by Mr Smith.
After the Principle had read it, he said, ‘You’ll be writing lines for the rest of the period.’
‘Oh that’s stupid, you know I can speak English, it’s just that I don’t want to do what you say, at least i’m an individual. If I told you to jump off a cliff would you do it? No cause you wouldn’t want to would you?’
‘Would you rather do Maths work then?’
‘Nah.’
‘Say no properly.’
‘Look it’s my slang, I guess you’re just too locked up in you’re office to discover the real world.’
“Listen…’
The telephone rang and the Principle answered it.
A few minutes later he left the room.

Heather noticed that because it was a hot day, the Principle had left the window open.
She pushed it open just enough so she could fit through.
Once she had got through, she quickly ran out of the school grounds.

When she got home she called her band mates, who were also wagging from a different school, and told them that she’d meet them at Main Street.

She got changed into black pants, a short black skirt with a chain dangling down, a black top, high heels, a necklace with a guitar on it and some nice chunky earrings.
While she was waiting for the others to arrive, she started playing some songs on her electric guitar to passers by.

When her mates arrived, they started jamming, with her singing, the guys doing back up vocals, and playing instruments such as bass, lead guitar and drums.
They did songs such as Smoke On The Water, Back In Black, Sk8er Boi, Enter Sandman, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and some of their originals.

What Heather forgot was that her mom was having coffee with her friends at a cafe just nearby.
Once her mom had finished, she left the cafe and saw her daughter jamming with her band when she was supposed to be at school.

She stormed over and asked her what she was doing.
‘Busted.’ A guy called Jared said, who was the lead guitarist.
‘I’m… just… chilling with my band.’
‘And why aren’t you at school.’
‘Cause today was a Curriculum Day for all state schools and we forgot.’
‘You silly kids, anyway, keep jamming it’s awesome.’
‘Ha ha ha,’ they all laughed suttlely.

Here are some posts of the “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” work!

The time line is on the school computer.

1. How does Ferris convince his parents that he is sick?
He makes himself have a temperature and acts crazy like a little kid.

2. Describe Cameron in detail.
Cameron is thin with brown short hair, he is single, and has problems with the relationship he has with his father.

3. Do the students at Ferris’s school enjoy class?
Explain your answer
No, because the Maths teacher is extremely boring.

4. Do you think Ferris will marry Sloan? Why or why not?
No, I could be wrong but I got the impression that Sloan was trying to hit on
Cameron, because when she asked him, ‘Did you see me get changed?’ he
said yes, and then she replied, ‘I’m not embarrassed.’
I know I’d be embarrassed if it he was a male friend on mine.

5. Explain Cameron’s relationship with his father.
Cameron said that he didn’t get along with his father because he didn’t love Cameron’s mother and was only interested in his car, even though he had never driven it.

6. Explain what you think the message of the movie is.
I think the message of the movie is a challenge to see if someone could manage a whole day off school doing extreme things like what Ferris did, and not be caught for it!

Last Friday night I went to my neighbours Drama Concert in Upwey.
There were a range of acts from junior, intermediate and senior classes.
Some kids did a play on ‘Hairy Maclary From Donaldson’s Dairy’, some did one called, ‘A walk in the park,’ some did a play called, ‘Detention,’ and many more!!!!

My favourite play was the one called ‘detention,’ cause they wrote it themselves and it’s about school students having to go to detention.
It included some basic characters like a nerd, popular girls, a gothic person, a shy girl, and a boyfriend and girlfriend who had split up.
It was like the best ever and the acting was great!!!!!!!!

Some of the actresses I reconized from the Primary School I used to attend, and it was great to watch them.
My neighbour actually recieved a medal, like everyone who participated did, plus a Trophe!!!!!
I was soooooooooo happy for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD ON Ya!!!!

She deserved that award because she told me she filled in for someone in a play at the last minute, cause the girl dropped out!!!!!
And she learnt all those lines in 2 weeks!!!!!!

It was a great night and i’m proud that all of them had the guts to get up on stage and perform in front of their friends and family.

Last night I went to my school’s end of year F.O.N.O (For One Night Only).

It was like the best it has ever been cause the sound was great, the acts were great, and even the audience were great!!!

F.O.N.O is a music concert open for anyone at our school to do.

You just play your instruments, sing and do whatever!!!

They are really no boundaries, and it’s not a competition!!!!

I went in it and sang one of my own songs.

I always like doing my own cause it expresses who I am.

I was like shaking before it was my turn, cause I was on second, but i’m used to being like in the earlier times cause it happens to me all the time!!!

Plus you get it over and done with so you can relax for the rest of the night.

I liked everyone who participated in it, and I can’t get the songs out of my head!!!!

Some of the songs are even originals, if they have albums, i’d buy them cause they’re so good!

I say a great big HOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!  to everyone in the acts!!!!!

YOU GUYS ARE MY HEROES!!!!!!!!

ROCK ON!!!!!

Seriously it was a night to remember and now I want to get myself an electric guitar and be involved in a band to back me up for the next coming F.O.N.O!!!!!
