Next Thurday is F.O.N.O and i am really excited!!!!

It’s as 7:00 in our drama room!!!

I’m singing two songs, with my dad playing guitar

One of the songs is a song that i have written, and the other one is a song by Shakira

I’ve already got an outfit which i will be wearing

It’s a skirt, shirt and a jacket sort of thing

I’ve also got a pair of boots which i got ages ago

I’m like the only middle school kid doing it, and the rest are seniors!!!

But i don’t mind

On Friday the 2nd of June i attended a writing workshop with an author.

He writes books, and told us about some of the books he had written.

I found him very interesting to listen to because he was funny, and could act some of the characters really well!!!

He told us us a story about a teddy bear, and chose one of the kids to play the part of the girl.

He said that he wrote a story about each of his children, and that the teddy bear story is about one of her daughters who absolutely loves teddy bears even though she's in her twenty's!!!!

He got us to write about something we would save if our house was burning and our parents and animals had already gone.

I chose to do it about a red scarf that i had when i was a little girl

i don't think i've still got it, but because i never liked sucking on a dummy, used to suck on the red scarf instead

He collected our work, so he can mark it and let us know just how far we were from winning the book, because you need three stars in order to win the book!!!

We haven't got it back yet, but we will probably before the end of term!!!
