The Poem Rush
Challenge 1.
My stereo is as loud as a dragon
And it hipnotizes me into another world
My life then becomes a little magic
So i become a different girl
I share some of the time with my friend
Sometimes we dance till dawn
My soal inside glowing
Hoping the music will never end
Challenge 2
The song Sk8er Boi reminds me of you
You smell as sweet as strawberries because it beats for me
I smell your rose when the sky is blue
And watch you when no one else can see
I could cook you a nice pasta dish
And buy you an earring for your ear
I can grant your every wish
And we could listen to the stars if that’s what you want to hear
The warmth makes me feel that you are near
Challenge 3
I love winter cause
It reminds me of the snow
Which makes me feel cold
Challenge 4.
This miserable day
the ground began to feel damp
And i felt emo
The black cat felt like
It’s heart was lonely inside
So it went to sleep
Challenge 5
My cat was like a newspaper
Only black and white
Except for one thing
Her yellow-green eyes
She had a long black, fluffy coat
And was a mouse
Scared
But she used to sit comfortably
Infront of our house
I used to feed her cat biscuits
She liked the flavour
Even though she had a timid behaviour
You may think she was innocent as can be
But she used to look up at you
Like ‘What about me’
Then one day
It was a special day
She walked up against me
And now we play
And spend time together
She’s a beautiful, black and white, begging cat!

Dear Miss. Pryor
I was late to school
Because i fell in the pool
I was late to school
Because i broke the loo
And got dirt in my hair
I can't explain
All that happened today
Because there's so much to remember
But i know it's true
That i'm getting a new loo
This coming September

Working on Shakespeare
Hoping for the bell to ring
But being patient
Working with Tara
Doing an experiment
About convection
Standing on the court
Dreading for a chance to rest
Glad to get away
Writing cool poems
Enjoying the time i have
Our teacher is nice

The Amazing Build-Yourself-A-Poem!
You're like a song with a catchy melody
And as sweet as candy fresh from the store
On the outside your dressed like a vampire
But on the inside you're as soft as a cat's coat
As you walk past the watching crowd
Warning them not to stare
A smile slips across your face
And senses your other side

Mother’s Day!!!!!!!!!
'This Mother's Day Weekend' was a weekend out of the ordinary because we bought soo much stuff, and it wasn't all for Mother's Day!!!
First of all we got this LCD Screen, for our back room to watch DVD's and stuff!!!
It was part of mum's Mother's Day gift, and also a present for the family.
Then we wanted to get Foxtel connected to that television, so we went to Tandy Electronics to get a cable.
Then we didn't want to trip over the cable when it was connected, so we bought a rug.
As mum's Mother's Day gift she got a DVD.
And the lucky last thing that we bought was an Iglo bed for our cat!!!
She hasn't slept in it yet, but she has sniffed it out.
We got it at The Reject Shop for about $21, it was a good price because if you go to the Pet Shop, you'll pay about $65!!!!

Fox Story
One night Dog walks through the pitch, black forest, when without warning he hears
something rattle through the bushes.
Dog stops for a moment listening.
The rattles get louder and louder.
Dog peers his head through a nearby bush.
Dog immediately gets his head out of the bush and runs as fast as his hind legs will carry him.
A reddish-brown coloured Fox nearby catches up with Dog, and starts biting him.
Dog tries to fight back, but is too exhausted from running that he collapses to the ground.
Fox now has Dog right where he wants him.
He swipes his paw across Dog’s face and hits his eye.
His work is now done, so he runs off into the darkness.
The next morning Dog wakes up to find that he is blind in one eye.
He is shocked.
Somehow he can’t remember anything that happened the night before.
He manages to get himself up onto his four legs, but is still very sore from when Fox had bit him.
He starts to walk slowly through the forest.
About an hour later Dog finds a Magpie with a burnt wing, resting on the dirt.
‘Hello are you ok?’ asks Dog to the Magpie.
‘My wing got caught on a burning tree branch, answers Magpie.
‘Well I’m blind in one eye,’ answers Dog, trying to make Magpie feel better.
‘Owwww! it hurts,’ explains Magpie, ignoring what Dog had just said.
‘Let’s get you out of here,’ says Dog.
‘But I can hardly move,’ points out Magpie.
‘Let me carry you in my mouth,’ organizes Dog.
‘I’d rather stay here,’ replies Magpie.
‘If you stay here you’ll get eaten by a wild animal,’ answers Dog, knowing what was coming ahead of her.
‘Alright I’ll come,’ says Magpie, changing her mind.
Dog runs through the forest, Magpie in his gentle mouth.
He takes her to his very own cave, which is above the river.
When he reaches it, he tries to fix Magpie’s burnt wing.
‘Leave my wing alone, I’m never going to be able to fly again,’ Magpie whispers.
‘I realize that,’ answers Fox.
There was dead silence
Then he finally says ‘Even though I’m blind in one eye, life is still good’.
‘An eye means nothing!’ replies Magpie.
‘What if you couldn’t run, how would that make you feel?’ questions Magpie.
Fox doesn’t answer.
Magpie hides herself into the shadow of some nearby rocks, until she feels herself in blackness.
Days, maybe even a week later, Magpie wakes with grief.
Dog is waiting.
He tries and persuades her to come with him to the riverbank.
‘Jump on my back, look into the water and then tell me what you see,’ he orders.
Magpie sighs, but still does what he asked.
Reflected in the water Magpie sees clouds, sky, trees and something else.
‘I see a peculiar new creature,’ says Magpie.
‘The peculiar new creature you see is us,’ answers Dog. ‘Hold on tightly!’
Dog runs, with Magpie holding on to his back firmly, they pass many exciting things along the way.
The wind blows through Magpie’s feathers as she says to Dog, ‘Fly Dog Fly! I will be your blind eye, and you can be my wings.’
Dog continues to run, with Magpie tightly on his back, every day, even through Summer and Winter.
One day a fox snoops into the bush, he has haunting eyes and a rich red coat.
Like a tongue of fire, he flickers through the trees.
Magpie trembles at the sight of him.
Dog says ‘Welcome. We can give you shelter and a supply of food.’
‘Thank you! Replies Fox. ‘I noticed you were running early this morning, you looked extraordinary.’
Dog beams at Fox, while Magpie moves away.
She can just feel Fox’s eyes staring at her burnt wing.
When the air is creamy with blossom in the evening, Dog and Magpie like to relax at the mouth of the cave, where they enjoy each other’s company.
Every now and then Fox joins in to their subject of conversation, and Magpie can still feel his eyes always watching her.
Even at night his scent fills the cave, it is a smell of envy, rage and loneliness.
Magpie warns Dog about Fox and tells him, ‘He doesn’t belong anywhere. He doesn’t love any one.’
But Dog just answers, ‘He’s all right, just let him be.’
That night Fox is sleeping and is having a dream about Fox persuading Magpie to come with him because he can run faster than Dog can, but Magpie doesn’t get brainwashed, she says ‘I will never leave Dog.’
The next day Dog is at the river drinking some water from the river, while Fox is talking to Magpie.
Fox tries to hear their conversation, while taking gulps of water, but he hears nothing.
Later that day Dog runs through the scrub with the wind blowing in his fur.
Once again Fox is talking to Magpie, but Dog doesn’t notice because he is too far into the forest, running for his life, seeing birds in their nests along the way.
That night Dog is sleeping, his dream continuing from the previous night.
He dreams that Fox is running through the air with Magpie on his back, passing coolibah trees, ripping through the tall, thick, green grass, and stepping over rocks that lay ahead of them.
He dreams that Fox runs so fast that his feet barely touch the ground.
And then Magpie screams ‘At last I am actually flying. Really Flying!’
But then he dreams that something terrible happens.
Without warning Fox shakes Magpie off his back, as if she she was a flea, and runs off.
Then for the very last time, he turns around and says, ‘Now you and Dog will discover what it’s like to be truly alone,’ and with that he runs off into the darkness.’
In the morning Dog woke to find that Magpie was gone.
A dream come true, he thought.

My Favourite TV Show
My favourite TV show is Darcy's Wildlife
It is on a channel on Foxtel called 'Nickelodeon.'
Its about a girl called Darcy who's mother wants to live somewhere else.
But they end up going to live on a farm!
Which isn't what Darcy had in mind
There they get up to many adventures!
I like the show because it's different from regular shows and it stars an actor called 'Kerry Michael Saxena,' who i think is cute!!!
I didn't know he even existed until i saw him on this show!
He's a comedian and does many fun things throughout the show such as:
Falling over fox cages.
I think that he should be in other shows as well!!!
It's on every Friday night at 7:30.
If i can't be there to watch it, then i'll record it and what it whenever.
Macarena
Because our school raised the most money for 'Loud Shirt Day,' we got the opportunity to hold the Macarena dance at our school!
So we invited 14 other schools to join us as well.
We are hoping to get into the Guiness Book of World Records
As well as it being the Macarena day, it was also 'Loud Shirt' day.
We had to bring a two dollar donation.
'Loud Shirt Day,' represents a day for the people who are deaf.
We had 1815 people doing the Macarena for eight minutes, whereas the people in the Guiness Book of World Record had only 712 people.
I thought the day was awesome because it gave us the opportunity to stand up to deaf people, and to dance and have a chance to be filmed and be in the Guiness Book of World Records!!!!!
Here are the instructions of the dance

F.O.N.O (for one night only)
F.O.N.O is a concert night at my school where you can perform songs playing all sorts of instruments.
Our school has it about 2 or 3 times a year.
My friend Christine and i did one last year, where i sang one of my own songs to a backing track with Christine playing Clarinet.
i enjoyed it sooo much that i’m going to do it again!!!
This time i’m going to be doing another two songs of my own, or if i can’t do two, then i’ll do just the one song.
i think that F.O.N.O is a great opportunity to perform my music to people, and be on stage, it is also great to see other school students perform as well!!!
